	Prince Gabriel accepted a challenge by High-Lord Von Roterstein of Ardoragh, which resulted in the death of Prince Gabriel, causing a rift between the Imperial House Viromaro and the House Von Roterstein. ==== Damage ====
The earthquake caused severe damage across the span of its westward wave, primarily within the Lygonian Highlands north of the Wahler river. Major effects could be seen in towns such as Sweetberry and New Hammerhorn, where several buildings collapsed, along with multiple caveins in tunnels of the Sweetberry mines. Within the Northern and Sefina seas several ships were also sunk following the tsunamis produced by the quake. In the end the earthquake is estimated to have resulted in the loss of life of some 150 persons, the sinking of 7 ships, and the significant destruction of several towns and pieces of infrastructure.

==== Origins ====
It is believed that the earthquake was formed by the natural sudden movement of plates along the northern Easterian fault line, however there remain certain characteristics about the Mount Tyler quake that remain unresolved. The most notable of these is the directionality of the quake, whereas previously documented earthquakes in the region have resulted in quakes that emanate in at least two lateral directions, the Mount Tyler quake moved almost exclusively westward, leaving the eastern territories –including the Republic's capital– unharmed.

When the Grand War ended, one of the terms of the peace treaty was that all Raggisari citizens who had been taken to the Kythiran Empire as prisoners of war, and whom had been sold into slavery, would be returned. Because in the Kythiran Kingdom of Alcanzar, the dominant slavers region of the Empire, most of the slaves had been sold and kept in extremely poor condititions. Many did not make it till the end of the war. Many still however did, but bore scars both physical and mental of their ordeals during their captivity. So to prevent them from returning home and telling stories of their maltreatment, the High Lord of Alcanzar ordered a secret operation which entailed the mass killings of the worst treated slaves, so that only those with relatively decent stories would return to tell their tales and Alcanzar would not become an international outcast.

The operation, codenamed Operation Mercy, would consist of the formation of several transit camps, some real, some meant for the purpose of mass killings. The freed slaves would be send to large improvised camps, where they would be secretly selected on if they would or wouldn't return to Raggisar. Then they would be loaded into ships, which looked identical but some would travel to death camps whilst others departed for Raggisar.

	The Meeting at the Mediocre was the formal meeting between the Emperor of the Kythiran Empire and the King of Ardoragh in the Third Era. After weeks of negotiations, here King Von Roterstein offered the Crown ~~of Ardoragh, which also was the ancient crown of the Kingdom~~ of Redstonia, to the Kythiran Emperor Richard ''"The Great"'' I Viromaro. In exchange, the Emperor gave Von Roterstein a new crown, that of the High-Lord of Ardoragh, which would be his new role. The ancient crown of Redstonia was transported to Helmira to be kept in the White-Gold Tower. When after several centuries the Province of Ardoragh became the Kingdom of Ardoragh again, the High-Lord's title and crown's usage were continued.		The Meeting at the Mediocre was the formal meeting between the Emperor of the Kythiran Empire and the King of Ardoragh in the Third Era. The Redstonian Crown was moved by Empress Theodosia from Helmira to the palacial complex of Ardor’s Lodge.

	Fort Norman is an old Kythiran island-stronghold in the Mediori Sea. It was ~~designed~~ and ~~build by~~ a ~~collaboration~~ of Ardoraghi and ~~mainland Kythiran architects and engineers~~.		Fort Norman is an old Kythiran island-stronghold in the Mediori Sea dating back to the Unification of Kythira in the Third Era. The island was originally inhabited by the Norman clan, who were defeated by the Alcanzari general Harlin Mablok. He conquered the island in a single night by setting a fire to the east of the island, and as the eastern winds blew, it scattered burning embers across the wooden settlement of the Normans. The inhabitants were shot with volleys of arrows as they fled from their burning homes. The Mablok’s constructed a small keep on the island, until the early Fourth Era when Emperor Charles I ordered the construction of the Mediori Fleet. To defend this new fleet, the imperial government ordered the construction of a grand fortress on the island. Financed by the Crown and built by Ardoraghi and Heartlanders.

	~~Its official function is being~~ the ~~headquarters~~ and ~~main defense~~ of the Mediori Fleet. ~~The Viromaro family uses~~ the ~~fortress as a harbor~~ for the ~~royal yacht~~.		During the Grand War the Mediori Fleet was considered to be basically safe in its home harbor, and so few troops were allocated to the fortress. When the Burning of the Mediori Fleet happened, the garrison’s sole boat was quickly sunk by the Republican forces, after which the defenders were stuck on their island, forced to watch as the Mediori fleet was burned down and the attackers escaped. A few ships were shot and sunk from the cannons on the castle’s walls, but this ultimately proved insufficient. Outraged, Prince Charles sailed to the castle, where he was received by Lord Ormur Mablok. He sentenced Lord Mablok to death, blaming him for the loss of the fleet. Lord Mablok defended himself, arguing that they did all they could. Prince Charles had Lord Mablok sailed out into the Mediori on a rowboat, and there, whilst his family was forced to watch from one of the towers, had him thrown into the sea weighted down by an anchor. His 10 year old son, Desmon Mablok, was named the new Lord of the Fortress. <br />
