The House Viromaro originates from the Riverlands. It is one of the Great Houses of Minecraftia. They currently rule over the Kythiran Empire, and were the founders of the Kingdom of Kythira at the end of the First Era.

Having the wealth of the Kythiran Empire behind them, the Viromaro family is the richest in Minecraftia. The current patriarch of the family is Emperor Coetzeeclan Viromaro. His father, Squarepantstoo Viromaro disappeared in the Narrow Sea during the early Third Era, whilst his sister, Poppedijn Viromaro disappeared during the Great Grief. The Viromaro family has some blood ties with the Blackwater family, ranging back to the First Era. Recent conflicts such as the Dervich Incident have however strained this relationship between the two rulers.

The Viromaros are known for their need of territorial expansion and search of wealth. However, they are also known for their excessive spending on the formation of more palaces and enriching themselves, making some to describe their rule as a kleptocracy. They have acquired most of their wealth by taking directly from the Kythiran Treasury, leaving the latter to one of the smallest in the world. They however claim that, since they embody the Kythiran state, this is permissible.

The House Roterstein originates from the Riverlands. It is one of the Great Houses of Minecraftia. During the Second Era, the head of the House, Whazajottom, became a King when he founded Redstonia on the Peninsula of Peril. The House was, together with House Hurdræber, a primary cause of the Great Grief and, although Redstonia survived the Grief in full, their nation-state nevertheless eventually crumbled.

As the Third Era began, the brothers Corspin and Whazajottom Roterstein were offered to colonize and explore the lands west of the Mediori Sea by Kythira, after the fortress of Mörkren was discovered, making Whazajottom the High-Lord of the new Golden Province of Ardoragh.

Today, the Roterstein family are one of the strongest families in Minecraftia, and with Whazajottom Roterstein becoming the Crown Prince of Kythira, they are considered by some to already be the most powerful family in the Kythiran Empire. They are also considered to be the third richest family of Minecraftia.

The Rotersteiners are known for their ruthlessness and willingness to destroy all what stands in their way. The current patriarch, Whazajottom Roterstein, is a clear example of this, whilst his brother, Corspin Roterstein, is seen as a more reluctant leader, whom focuses more on trade in his city of Kreonix. Contrasting their ruthlessness, they are also known for their great hospitality for those whom pledge allegiance to them.

They were the driving force behind the Raids on the Riverlands and the formation of the Redstone Alliance and, together with the Roterstein family, eventually caused the Great Grief. Betrayed by the Roterstein family however, they were attacked themselves by Redstonian forces, leading to the extinction of the House.

The House Blackwater originates from the Riverlands. It is one of the Great Houses of Minecraftia. The family lived in the castle Blackwater for the First- and Second Era, but gave their fortress to the newly formed Kythiran Empire during the Third Era, in exchange for lands east of the Narrow Sea, where they, under Borous Blackwater, would form the Imperius Reich.

Today House Blackwater is one of the most powerful families in Minecraftia, and the most powerful in Imperius. They are considered the second richest family in Minecraftia.

The Blackwaters are stuck in a great rivalry with the Viromaros, but have to keep diplomatic ties with them out of fear of a Rotersteiner Kythira, something they are greatly against, blaming the Rotersteiners for the Great Grief.

Yrticil is the major city in Southern [[Ardoragh]]. It was build by Witlof during the Fourth Era. It is both the southern-most city in Ardoragh and the [[Empire of Kythira|Kythiran Empire]] and due to geographical isolation and advantages it is heavily fortified by both nature and the city's population. The city houses a small-to-medium scale shipyard and dock.

The city contains a large underground cavern system called Blackreach, to which most caverns in the region lead.

Yrticil was found after an Ardoraghi expansion party was sent to the south in name of Whazajottom to expand and unify the lands under his new flag. The expedition leader, Witlof, managed to bring a lot of villages under the flag or Ardoragh and settled the city of Yrticil to give a good grip to the Southern lands of Ardoragh. Yrticil is to this day the seat of power in Southern Ardoragh.

Ardoragh is currently a province in the [[Empire of Kythira]]. It is located to the west of Kythira and is except for the farlands, the largest province of the world. Although it mostly consists of raw nature.

It is currently under the rule of [[Whazajottom|High Lord Whazajottom]]. Before the unification it has also been under the rule of High Lord Whazajottom, back then it was a monarchy being ruled by Whazajottom. He had offered to join the Empire to prevent any new wars from escalating. This removed Ardoragh from being the new kingdom of Whazajottom.

Ardoragh has a mythical background with lots of folk tales, ranging from magical beings to giants to large evil armies plundering all the lands. Although there is little to no evidence to be found all around Ardoragh except for ruins. Although it is said that inside the mountain of the fortress of [[Mörkren]] still resides the old fortress from the folklore. The Mythical fortress of Mörkren. There are locked doors to be found inside the fortress, but for years nobody has ever went there. It is also strictly forbidden to trespass these doors. It is still unknown what is behind these doors.

Within Ardoragh there are several titles, thus far the ruler of the province of Ardoragh is Crown Prince Whazajottom of Kythira, High-Lord of Ardoragh and Knight of the Tower.

Under the High Lord of Ardoragh there is the title of Duke/Dukess for those who rule a city or a large Stronghold.

The title of Count/Countess can be given to those who are to control a village or fortress/castle.

The '''Empire of Kythira''' is a sovereign nation-state spanning the whole of the Continent of Westeria.

The Empire was founded during the Third Era by King CoetzeeClan after the Great Grief by unifying all the fallen kingdoms into the Kingdom of Kythira. After this transition, he crowned himself Emperor of Kythira and Sovereign of Westeria.

The Empire is ruled from its capital: Helmira.

The Empire is divided into six provinces, Three Crown Provinces and three Golden Provinces: semi-independent provinces ruled by a High Lord who is appointed by the Emperor. Outside of these province boundaries like the Northern Sea, the Southern Sea and the [[Vestlig Sea]] lay the Farlands, except in the east. These Farlands, although officially without name often are called by their geographical location: The North, The South, The West. These Farlands are under authority of the Crown and still a part of the Empire of Kythira, but they are not seen as the mainland, and thus they are often disregarded.
== History ==
The Empire of Kythira traces its roots back to the Kingdom of Kythira, a city state founded at the end of the First Era by the Riverlander Lord Coetzee. During the Second Era, many city-states followed Kythira's example across Westeria, as the lands across the Narrow Sea had not been explored except for minor areas, and no settlements were made. Conflict would eventually arise between the city states of Redstonia, Kythira and Helmsdeep and the free people of the Riverlands. This all exploded in the Great Grief, which ended the Old World and brought a dark age to Minecraftia. After this event, remnants of Kythiran civilization began annexing the rest of Westeria and rebuilding from the ashes, which culminated in the annexation of [[Ardoragh]] and ending the Third Era. At this point, the Kythiran Empire as we know it today, was founded.

== Government ==
The Empire is under the autocratic control of His Imperial Highness Coetzeeclan I, Emperor of Kythira and Sovereign of Westeria. To aid in this task, he has the aid of three High Lords, rulers of semi-independent Golden Provinces, and the Hand of the Emperor. The Empire is ruled from the White Gold Tower, which stands proud in the Arcadia District of Helmira. The power is symbolized in the Kythiran Crown, located in Castle Fuertera, and the Kythiran Diamond Throne, located in the White Gold Tower. The Crown Provinces are all directly ruled from the White Gold Tower, whilst Golden Provinces are only indirectly ruled from there.

A High Lord is a Kythiran citizen who has been knighted as Knight of the Tower and who upon accension has been handed control over a Golden Province.

== Military ==
The Kythiran Military consists of two different factions. First and foremost, at the Emperor's command the High Lords must assemble their forces to come and assist in defending the Empire from foreign threats. This force has access to numerous castles, towers, bunkers and fortresses across the Empire to station themselves in during a foreign invasion.

For the protection of the crown however, the original Kythiran Military, was revived with a new purpose and vision by Publius Decius Agricola, on the orders of the Emperor. This force, known as the [[Imperial Legion of Kythira]], is primarily focused on rapid response actions, protection of the Emperor and protection of the Realm by supressing uprisings within the Empire, as well as supporting civil authorities and law-enforcement agencies.

== Economy ==
The currency of the Empire is the Green Dragon Emerald. It's economy in general consists of trade between the provinces and to a lesser extend trade with the Empire of Imperius.

The Province of Camuria holds the Imperial Mining Company, the Province of Alcanzar the Imperial Forestry Company, the Province of Ardoragh mostly has a service based economy, quite like the one the Kingdom of Redstonia had during the Second Era.

The Crown Provinces focus on a combination of taxation of the Golden Provinces, the production of food and trade with Imperius via the Imperial Trading Company, located in Helmira, which has a monopoly on trade with foreign powers.

The Empire of Kythira has three official languages, though Riverlandish and Low-Riverlandish is the standard. These are:
